Getting Around on Foot
Both Orenco Station and downtown Portland offer big entertainment on a small scale, easily explored on foot.
By MAX and bus. A state-of-the-art light rail system called the MAX stops at all the major sights in the greater Portland area, from shopping to dining to sight-seeing. An excellent bus system traverses hundreds of miles and is inexpensive and easy to use. Maps and train schedules are complimentary to each room. Or visit www.trimet.org.
By car. From the Oregon Coast just 35 miles west of Orenco Station, to the beautiful Columbia River Gorge 40 miles east of Orenco Station, an automobile will ensure access to the amazing Oregon natural areas.
